Celebrating the Life of our Uncle Kirk

Kirk is home! He passed away peacefully this afternoon only moments after we were able to say goodbye.

Though heartbroken, we are celebrating the life of a man we all dearly loved. We find comfort in knowing he is in Heaven and trusting that Jesus met him saying thank you for serving the least of these, you have been a good and faithful servant. Kirk faithfully cooked for and served the homeless. This gives us peace.

Mom remains steady. They are trying to wean her off of sedation tonight. Pray that she will be able to follow commands as the sedation is lowered and that her blood pressure will remain strong.

We kindly ask that you not convey your condolences to my mom at this time. Thank you for your understanding. We want her to remain positive since our fight is for her to come home to us.

  1. Libby, I am so sorry about the loss of Kirk. Please let us know what needs to be done. There are so many of Lin’s friends that would love to help in anyway that the family needs! Much love to you!

  3. Kirkie-poo was loved by so many of us. His dry wit, love of food and theater, compassion and the love he showed you girls will always be remembered. Rest of friend and get things ready for us in heaven. Xo, Shannon
